Filey is a small traditional seaside town, home to an award-winning museum and a nature reserve that is a haven for wild birds. The town is situated at the eastern end of The Cleveland Way, a long-distance footpath that skirts the Yorkshire Moors and has many beautiful walks with stunning views to offer. Children will enjoy a visit to the Coble Landing where they will find traditional salmon boats sat alongside activities for the whole family, such as Funland Amusements, traditional fish & chips at The Coble Landing Chip Shop, fresh ground coffee and lovely home made treats and award winning ice cream at The Cobles Coffee Bar along with other seaside attractions.

Pay a visit to the award winning beach which spans 7 miles – great for dog walks and blowing away those cobwebs with all that fresh air!

Scarborough is situated at the southern end of the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast and, together with Filey, offers beautiful beaches, coastal walks and a variety of entertainment for the whole family.

Scarborough is a town of two halves, with South Bay full of amusement arcades, fish and chip shops and donkey rides, whilst the more genteel North Bay is home to several parks and grand Victorian buildings. The whole family will want to take a trip on the miniature North Bay Railway, which will take you to Sea Life Centre and to the Historic Water Chute and Boating Lake, where you can have a go on the amazing Water Walkers.

Within easy reach is the famous Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo, which has something to offer every member of the family, from thrilling white-knuckle rides to children's entertainment. For something really out of the ordinary, pay a visit to Pesky Husky, where you can take part in a kennel tour followed by walk or even a trek with these charismatic dogs.
